Fuel Polishing Service
Your operation shouldn’t be compromised by fuel contamination. The removal of solid particulates, water, and wet foreign matter requires multiple stages using different filter technologies and processes. Fuel polishing is an advanced level of fuel filtration that will separate any dirt/sludge that may be in the tank and will ensure that only clean fuel goes back in to it.
Fuel Polishing won’t separate the fuel from water, that will need to be done before we use the polisher by our ‘normal’ pumps. If we arrived to site where water has been in the tank but fuel polishing is also requested, the process would be as below;
- Dip the tank for water.
- Pump water out using our ‘normal’ pump.
- Pump all fuel out of tank into holding containers.
- Clean the oil tank (if necessary).
- Pump fuel back into tank via fuel polisher.
If you chose our fuel polishing service, your fuel would be passed through specialised equipment, and through a combination of depolymerisation and filtration the finer contaminants would be removed. Diesel polishing is a cost-effective and non-disruptive service.
