Sunflowers, a charity for suicide bereavement

Ford Fuels’ own Mackenzie, and her sister in law Samantha hosted a charity event over the weekend for Sunflowers, a charity for suicide bereavement. The event was in honour of suicide bereavement awareness week, coffee mornings were being held all over the county called “DO-NOT BE ALONE”.

This was more than a fundraising event, it was a chance for people to come together and share their stories and raise awareness about the importance of not facing life’s challenges alone. The event was incredibly moving, being able to sit with people to talk and reflect on the loves ones they had lost. This charity is incredibly close to Mackenzie and Samantha’s hearts and all involved felt very privileged to be part of it.

There were lots of cakes and hot drinks and a warm space out of the wind and rain. They managed to raise over £260.00, with some very generous donations.
