We are looking for a LGV Driver (Class 2) working out of Gloucester Depot covering approx. a 50-mile radius.

Your working day will start at 6:00am, Monday to Friday, with varied finish times to meet customer demand. You will never work over drivers hours regulations.

We are looking for a Class 1 Artic Driver working out of our Gloucester Depot, responsible for collecting fuel from oil terminals and delivering to both Company depots and direct to customer premises.

You will work a shift pattern opposite a colleague which will consist of two weeks on an early shift, and two weeks on a late shift, Monday to Friday. Weekend working may be required on occasions.

About the role:

• Shift times: Early shift: 4:00am – 2:00pm; Late shift: 3:00pm – 1:00am. Two weeks on early shift, two weeks on late shift
• Responsible for collecting fuel from oil terminals or Company depots
• Safe delivery of fuels to Company depots or customer premises
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting wear and tear or damage of vehicles in a timely manner
• Following the tachograph and working time regulations, including taking suitable breaks as per the regulations
• Complying with all procedures and safe systems of work
• Making sure all paperwork for each job is completed correctly
• Driving in a safe and courteous manner
• Upholding good customer relationships
• Promoting Ford Fuels in a positive manner
• Flexible to carry out other duties which may include driving other vehicles to meet Company requirements

About you: 

• HGV Class 1 driving licence (Essential)
• Valid digital tachograph card (Essential)
• Valid CPC/DQC card (Essential)
• ADR qualification (Highly Desirable)
