Stalbridge | Transport Scheduler | Full-Time | £27,000 - £35,000 (DOE)

An opportunity has arisen for a full-time role in our busy transport office based at our Stalbridge Depot.

About the role 

  • Assisting the Depot Manager
  • Day-to-day scheduling and routing of fuel and lubricant delivery vehicles
  • Arranging transport using third party hauliers / couriers
  • Carrying out various vehicle and driver compliance checks
  • Downloading vehicle tachograph units, monitoring driver’s hours
  • Assisting with vehicle and driver compliance tasks
  • Assisting with fuel ordering process
  • Monitoring fuel stock levels and investigating discrepancies
  • Answering the phone to transport related queries
  • Resolving customer complaints
  • General warehouse and yard work when required

  • Excellent communication skills internally and externally
  • IT literate – good knowledge of Microsoft office
  • Flexible
  • Class C licence (desirable)
  • Current CPC card (desirable)
  • Counterbalance / Reach forklift licence (desirable)
  • Operator licence awareness certificate(desirable)
  • Operators CPC licence (desirable)
  • ADR (desirable)
  • IOSH managing safely certificate (desirable)
  • First aid qualification (desirable)

Farrington Gurney | Office Administrator | Full-Time | Up to £20,000 plus overtime for Saturday working

An opportunity has arisen for a full time Lubricant Administrator to join our Farrington Gurney Depot.

Experience is preferred but full training can be given for the right candidate.

About the role of Lubricant Administrator

  • Hours 40 hours per week Monday – Friday (8:00am – 17:00pm)
  • Saturdays on a rota basis approx. 1 in 3 (paid at overtime)
  • First line telephone response
  • Processing orders and taking payments
  • Exceptional level of customer service to new and existing customers
  • Responding promptly to internal enquiries
  • Point of contact for internal Sales team
  • Other administrative duties as and when required

About you

  • Inbound telephone experience
  • Customer service experience
  • Good administrative skills
  • Good communication skills
  • IT Literate
  • Awareness of data protection principles
  • Able to work under pressure
  • Able to prioritise and manage own workload
  • Experience in a similar role
