Gloucester (GL2 5FD) | Customer Service Advisor | Full-time | £25,396.80 - £26,728.00 per annum (depending on experience)

Ford Fuels is a family run fuel, lubricant and AdBlue distribution business supplying both commercial and domestic customers.

An opportunity has arisen for a Full-time Customer Service Advisor to join our expanding Customer Service team working at our Gloucester Depot.

You will be required to work Saturday mornings for 3 hours on a rota basis, which will be paid at overtime rate.

About the role:

  • 40 hours per week
  • Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm (1 hour unpaid lunch break)
  • Fully office based
  • 1st line telephone response
  • Answer the telephone to take fuel orders
  • Raise tickets for fuel orders
  • Process orders for Transport to deliver
  • Take payments over the phone
  • Direct calls to the relevant departments
  • Process group orders
  • Transfer tickets to other depots
  • Cover for raising repeat order tickets
  • Regular internal communication
  • Covering other duties as and when required

About you:

  • Experience in a similar role (desirable)
  • Inbound telephone experience (desirable)
  • Customer service experience
  • Good administrative skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Highly organised
  • IT literate
  • Awareness of data protection principles
  • Willing to learn about the business and progress
  • Able to work under pressure
  • Able to prioritise and manage own workload

Stalbridge (DT10 2RU) | Customer Service Advisor | Full Time | £26,728.00 per annum

Farrington Gurney (BS39 6UU) | Credit Controller | Full Time | £26,728.00 per annum

Ford Fuels is a family run fuel and lubricant distribution business supplying both commercial and domestic customers.

 

An opportunity has arisen for a full time Credit Controller to join our Farrington Gurney Depot. The role will involve chasing overdue invoices by telephone, email and letter and ensuring that all debts are paid in a timely manner. As a Credit Controller you will provide a high level of customer service at all times, be resilient, a problem solver and be highly organised.

  • Chasing overdue invoices by telephone, email and letter within agreed timescales
  • Ensure that debts are paid in a timely manner
  • Dealing with internal queries regarding payments
  • Maintain accurate records of all chasing activity
  • Handle disputed bills and negotiate to bring payment within agreed terms
  • Provide accurate advice on billing queries
  • Respond promptly and completely to both clients and internal enquiries

  • Credit Checks
  • Provide high levels of customer service
  • To assist with other duties as and when required

About you

  • Great communication skills
  • Confidence to be assertive with individuals and companies who owe money
  • Customer service experience
  • IT Literate – experienced in Microsoft Office Packages
  • Good numeracy skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Good time management
  • Experience in a similar role (desirable)
  • Credit controller qualifications (desirable)
